New in 2026/27 - U16 Brad Haddin Shield

💚🏏 REGISTER YOUR INTEREST - U16 BRAD HADDIN SHIELD 2026/27 🏏💚 

The Brad Haddin Shield is here - a new Cricket ACT U16 competition bringing together some of the best young cricketers in the ACT.

It will give the ACT’s leading U16 male and u19 female cricketers the chance to play high-quality cricket, test themselves against the best and take another step along the representative pathway. It is also open to interstate players and you don't have to have played for WCMCC before to be eligible. If you’re ready for the challenge, we want to hear from you!

Our team will be part of the senior club and will be coached by members of our First Grade team and the nomination process is open now for our 2026/27 squad. A selection trial will be held from 5-6pm on 5 September 2026 at the Cricket ACT Phillip indoor centre, but you must first register your interest via this link WCMCC Brad Haddin Shield u16 team 2026/27 season – Fill out form .

Players who have already been selected in the U16 Cricket ACT development pathway should still register their interest. Players who are required to play junior cricket for their schools are eligible to play for WCMCC in this competition (under the same rules as for senior cricket).

Please note this nomination and trial process will be in addition to the WCMCC Junior grading trials. Players wishing to play Div 1 cricket for WCMCC Juniors will also need to attend those trials.
